The National Board of Religious Inspectors and Advisers (NBRIA)

Conference Delegates welcomed to the Cathedral
The annual conference for the National Board of Religious Inspectors and Advisers (NBRIA) took place in Nottingham from the 14th to the 16th May 2025.
As conference delegates, we were welcomed to St Barnabas Cathedral, where we had a tour, finding out about A.W.N. Pugin and the Gothic revival architecture for which he is renowned.
We also heard about the recent National Lottery Heritage Fund, and how the grant awarded will be used to restore some of Pugin’s original work.
Holy Mass was celebrated by NBRIA President, Bishop Philip Egan and afterwards, there was a visit to the Venerable Mary Potter Heritage Centre, where we were given a tour and talk about the Founder of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary.
The opportunity for delegates to visit and learn more about the Diocese in which our conference was held, added a richness to our itinerary, and we thank all who made our visit possible, made us so welcome and provided refreshments.
