Craft Fair
Join us for a community Craft Fair filled with creativity and unique finds. Guided Tours of the Cathedral are also available.
Set against the stunning backdrop of this historic Gothic Revival landmark, the event promises a delightful experience for Craft Fair enthusiasts and families alike, while supporting the Cathedral Restoration Fund.
This vibrant Craft Fair will feature a wide variety of stalls showcasing the creativity of local artisans.
Visitors can explore beautifully handcrafted items such as embroidered fairy houses, intricate crochet pieces, homemade fudge, and stunning local photography. Whether you're looking for a unique gift or simply want to admire the artistry, there's something for everyone.
The Craft Fair also offers a wonderful opportunity to support Nottingham Cathedral's ongoing Restoration Project. Funds raised will contribute to the "Restoring Pugin" initiative, which aims to revive A.W.N. Pugin's (architect and designer of several important buildings, including the Houses of Parliament) original decorative designs and preserve this architectural gem for future generations.
Located in the heart of Nottingham City Centre on Derby Road, the Cathedral provides an inviting and inspiring setting for this community event. With free entry and a warm atmosphere, it's the perfect way to spend a summer weekend, while celebrating local talent and heritage.
Guided Tours of the Cathedral at the Craft Fair There will be guided tours of the Cathedral taking place alongside the Fair, offering an opportunity to explore the Cathedral's history in the context of Pugin's inspired architecture and interior design. Tours are open to all and are free: meet at the Friends of the Cathedral gazebo in the Cathedral Garden.
