The cathedral's Guild of Saint Cecilia was established in 2026 to provide vital support for our musical life.
“The treasure of sacred music is to be preserved and fostered with great care. Choirs must be diligently developed, especially in cathedral churches”
Sacrosanctum Concilium, §114
It is my great pleasure and privilege to be entrusted with this development at Nottingham Cathedral. We have great ambitions for the music here in this unique and holy place, and by joining our newly established Guild – dedicated to the Church’s great patron of music, Saint Cecilia – you can be an integral part of this exciting journey.
Peter Siepmann
